Sberbank Serbia officially launched its new business centre in Novi Sad, where today an exhibition of young artists—students of the Academy of Arts has opened.
According to the research company The Nilson Report, Sberbank has become the largest acquirer in Europe. In 2016, Sberbank handled 7.5 billion transactions across its merchant acquiring network. In one year, this figure rose by 41%. The study has taken into account data on Sberbank’s business within Russia.
Sberbank Serbia recorded an increase in profitability and achieved profit of RSD 436 million in 2016, while the number of clients increased by 62 percent compared to the previous year. The achieved result was a result of the cumulative effect of many initiatives in the area of partnerships, development of card and digital business, as well as numerous projects for corporate clients.
Sberbank Serbia has provided its clients with the ability to refinance existing loan obligations and thereby reduce the interest rate up to three times. New Super loan conditions now allow citizens to choose between a loans at a fixed or variable interest rate in the amount of up to 3,000,000 dinars, with a repayment period of up to 96 months.
Employees of Sberbank Serbia participated today with their families in the Fun Run at the 30th Belgrade Marathon, while the Bank will on this occasion donate funds for the implementation of humanitarian project "Values of life" organized by the Association of Sports Managers of Serbia.
